Bart Verstricht, performing as KATIWOSA, is an electronic music artist with a passion for exploring sound, technology, and creativity.

The name KATIWOSA carries a deeply personal meaning: it is formed from the first two letters of the names of his four children, making the project a reflection of both family and creativity.

With a background in electronics, KATIWOSA has a particular affinity for the technical and hands-on side of music creation. This naturally led to a love for Eurorack modular synthesizers, which have become one of his favourite instruments and an important part of his creative process.

Working extensively with hardware, synthesizers, and modular systems, KATIWOSA enjoys the tactile experience and unpredictability of shaping sounds in real time. At the same time, modern digital production remains an essential part of the process. A DAW provides the tools needed to record, arrange, mix, and master, combining the character and spontaneity of hardware with the flexibility and precision of the digital studio.
